Boone County runs northwest from Indianapolis along I-65, and it is really two counties in one. The south end, around Zionsville and Whitestown, is filling in with neighborhoods and large warehouses. The rest is farmland and small towns, with Lebanon in the middle. A short piece of I-465 even crosses the county's southeast corner.
