Worry about money keeps a lot of people from calling a lawyer after a crash. Here is our fee, in plain words, before you ever pick up the phone.
What "costs and expenses" means
The fee is what we are paid for our work. Costs and expenses are different: they are the out-of-pocket charges a claim runs up, such as fees for medical records and court filing fees. Your medical bills are separate too, and they remain your responsibility. We go over all of this before you sign anything, and it is written into your fee agreement.

When the fee applies
The 25%* fee covers motor vehicle accident cases (car, truck and motorcycle crashes) that settle before trial. If a case goes to trial, or for wrongful death, slip and fall and dog bite cases, we explain the fee for your situation when we talk, and it goes in your written agreement before any work starts.
Questions worth asking any lawyer about fees
- What percentage applies, and does it change if the case is filed in court or goes to trial?
- Which costs could come out of my recovery?
- Who pays my medical bills, and when?
- Will I get all of this in writing?
Ask us these too. We'd rather you understand the deal than sign something you don't.
